Oxnard: Car-To-Shooting Leaves Man Dead

01.11.2020 | 12:38 AM | OXNARD – A car-to-car shooting left a man dead, early Saturday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a car-to-car shooting in the 2700 block of Alvarado Street around 12:38 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a 21-year-old hispanic male victim inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound and began life-saving measures.

Firefighter paramedics took over treatment and transported the victim to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Initial reports indicate the male victim was traveling north on Alvarado Street when the occupant of another vehicle discharged a firearm.

A female passenger inside the victim’s vehicle was shaken up but uninjured as a result of the shooting.

No description of the suspect vehicle or the shooter was immediately available.
