Oxnard: Bicyclist Gunned Down In Apparent Drive-By Shooting

03.21.2019 | 11:39 PM | OXNARD – A bicyclist was hospitalized after being gunned down only an hour after another shooting, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to the reported shooting at the intersection of First and A streets around 11:39 PM.

Units arriving on scnee found a male bicyclist who had been gunned down by a passing vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics treated the man on scene before transporting him to an area hospital in unknown condition.

The shooting was the second in the span of approximately an hour in the city of Oxnard however it was unknown if the two incident were related.
