Oversized Semi Strikes Bridge

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 10-4-24, 3:42p.m.
LOCATION: EB 60 and Indian St.
AREA/CITY: Moreno Valley
DETAILS:

1. California Highway Patrol, Riverside Office responded to a semi that hit an overpass on the freeway causing major damage to the overpass.
2. Officers had to shut down the eastbound traffic at Indian Street for an unknown duration.
3. The semi is carrying construction equipment.
4. In the video you can see shots of the truck from under the overpass with debris on the road and the equipment that is stuck on the bottom of the overpass. .
5. A SIG alert has been issued and at this time there is no time estimate for the freeway to be reopened.
