Organized Retail Theft Crew Arrested In Thousand oaks

DETAILS:
- Deputies responded to a theft in progress at the Ulta Beauty on Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks
- A female with a male accomplice had filled a bag with merchandise and fled from the store
- The pair took off in a white utility truck with no license plates which was pulled over at the intersection above (Moorpark/ Hillcrest)
- While searching the vehicle additional stolen merchandise from Target was recovered as well as a drug paraphernalia and an electric grinder among other theft tools
- Deputies took both individuals into custody for Organized Retail Theft
- Ventura County Sheriff is investigating the incident
- Approximately $5400 of product was stolen according to a deputy at the scene.
