Orange: Restaurant Destroyed In Third Alarm Fire
12.22.2016 | 1:55 AM | ORANGE – The Spicy Thai Restaurant in Orange was obliterated after a roaring third-alarm blaze, early Thursday morning.
Firefighters responded shortly before 2:00 AM to reports of heavy smoke and fire showing from the Spicy Thai Restaurant located in the 4700 block of West Chapman avenue.
Crews arriving first on scene found the restaurant fully engulfed with flames and immediately began attacking the blaze.
During the firefight a portion of the building’s façade collapsed, shearing a gas meter and further infighting the blaze.
After nearly three hours the fire was extinguished, leaving the building demolished.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
