Orange: Residents Protest To Reopen California Amid COVID-19 Pandemic
04.27.2020 | 12:00 PM | ORANGE – A group of resident’s protested in downtown to demand the reopening of businesses amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Monday afternoon.
A group of more than 50 residents protested on foot at the Orange Circle Plaza in the downtown area of Orange around noon.
The group held signs demanding the reopening of businesses and peacefully protested while vehicles, some occupied by other protesters, drove around the traffic circle.
Police responded to the area and shut-down traffic as the protest grew in size.
No arrests were reported and police reopened traffic to the area around 3:00 PM.
