Orange: Police Investigate After Man Is Critically Stabbed

12.17.2018 | 8:50 PM | ORANGE – Police were investigating after a person was critically stabbed in the Old Town area, Monday night.

Authorities responded to the reported person down near the intersection of Chapman Avenue and Orange Street in the Old Town area shortly before 9:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a 27-year-old man in a pool of blood suffering from an apparent stab wound.

Firefighter paramedics treated the victim on scene before transporting them to UCI Medical Center for treatment where he remained hospitalized with critical injuries.

Police cordoned off the area while they worked to investigate the incident.

No suspect information or motive was immediately available.
