Orange: Driver Crashes After Being Shot & Killed

08.06.2020 | 11:27 PM | ORANGE – A driver crashed after being struck by gunfire and killed while driving, late Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting crash at the intersection of Tustin Street and Chapman Avenue around 11:27 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a red sedan that had crashed after the person driving was struck by gunfire.

Firefighter paramedics rushed the victim to an area trauma center where he was pronounced deceased.

A large crime scene was established while officers scoured the area for evidence.

Details regarding what led up to the shooting were not immediately available but police are investigating the incident as a homicide.
