Ontario: Drug Lab Explodes

04.09.19 | 8:01 PM | Ontario – A house explosion believed to the result of a drug lab sent three people to the hospital, Tuesday night.

Authorities were called to reports of an explosion that sparked a fire at a condo building along the 1900 Block of E Yale St.

Firefighters from the Ontario Fire Department arrived to find the two story condo with light smoke coming from the dwelling.

Firefighters were able to control the blaze within 15 minutes of arriving without the fire extending into other units.

There were four adults and two children inside the home at the time of the explosion. Three of these adults were transported to area hospitals with unknown injuries.

Ontario PD has taken over the investigation of the fire and the drug lab, and is investigating as to why children were present at the time of the incident.
