One Student Killed in Stabbing At Santa Ana High

SANTA ANA – Three Santa Ana High School students were stabbed Wednesday during a fight that occurred as students were leaving for the day.
The fight occurred around 3:20 p.m. at the high school at 520 W. Walnut St., and the altercation may have also included some adults, according to Fermin Leal, a spokesman for the Santa Ana Unified School District.
The students were stabbed in the shared parking lot with Heninger Elementary School, 417 W. Walnut St., Leal said.
The three victims were taken to a hospital with one listed in critical condition and the others expected to survive, said Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Sean Doran.
One of the victims was pronounced deceased.
All after-school activities were canceled for the day, Leal said.
