One Shot Near Canals In Marina Del Rey

At approximately 11:00 p.m. on April 17, 2026, officers responded to a shooting near Washington Boulevard and Strong Street in the Marina Del Rey area.

One victim was located suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Los Angeles Police Department officers searched the area for a vehicle believed to be involved, described as a truck.

Washington Boulevard was shut down in all directions near the scene as authorities conducted their investigation.
