One Patient Airlifted After Driving Off Cliff

Los Angeles County Fire Dept got a call of a two vehicle collision with two parties trapped inside the vehicle. CHP and La county Fire arrived at scene and reported one person trapped inside a vehicle & one person ejected from the vehicle. Fire had to use a rescue basket to pull up one patient and LACoFD walked the other patient up on a backboard via hiking trail nearby where the crash occurred. The most critical patient was airlifted to a local area hospital and the other one was transported by ambulance. Cause of the crash is still under investigation by Baldwin Park CHP
