One Killed In Horrific I-5 Freeway Crash | Chula Vista

06.23.2021 | 11:36 PM | CHULA VISTA – A resident from a nearby neighborhood called 911 and told the dispatch that they heard a crash on the freeway and saw the large freeway signage post sway back & forth. CHP and Firefighters arrived to find a Chevy truck on its side up against the pole. The driver had gone down the right shoulder for a short distance, hit and rode the guardrail until the truck impacted the pole. The male driver was declared deceased at the scene.
