One Killed in Horrible Rollover Crash | San Diego

01.09.2022 | 1:25 AM | SAN DIEGO – Two men were driving northbound on N. Torrey Pines Rd. when they thought they saw something in the southbound lanes.

There are no lights on this section of the roadway.

The two went back and discovered a car on its roof and upon further investigation, they found the body of a male inside and he was deceased.

The Police found skid marks where the car was going at a high rate of speed, and the driver lost control in his Mitsubishi Convertable.

The vehicle left the roadway and struck a Torrey Pine on the right shoulder, and then flipped onto its roof and landed in the southbound lanes of traffic.

The SDPD Traffic Collision Division is investigating.

The driver appeared to be in his 30’s.

The southbound lanes of N. Torrey Pines Rd will be shut down for several hours for the investigation.
