Authorities from OCFA arrived to find a vehicle that had been struck with one driver still trapped inside. Upon quick assessment, paramedics determined that the driver was deceased at scene. It is unclear how exactly the vehicle ended up on the tracks at the time the incident occurred, however witnesses off camera did state they saw the vehicle attempt to beat the train by driving through the down crossing arms. The car was dragged a couple hundred feet before coming to a rest. Multiple intersections in the area are blocked as police take over the investigation.
