One Killed After Car Collides with Power Pole and Wall

Phoenix Police and Phoenix Fire crews responded to reports of a vehicle collision.

Crews arrived to find a silver sedan on its roof.

The sedan collided with a power pole and through a residential back wall before overturning.

Firefighters found an unidentified occupant trapped inside the sedan.

Crews utilized heavy extrication to make entry into the vehicle and pronounced the occupant deceased on the scene.

Phoenix Police have established a hard closure for 67th Avenue between Osborn Road and Clarendon Avenue.

The closure is expected to remain in place throughout the early morning hours.

Vehicle Crime Unit detectives are on the scene investigating the collision.
