One Ejected, One Trapped In Awful Wrong-Way Crash | Riverside

10.12.2021 | 9:21 PM | RIVERSIDE – Authorities responded to a Collison on Monroe st. / Magnolia Ave. First arriving engine reported a three vehicle Collison with moderate to heavy damage with one party lying in the road way. Firefighter quickly went to work to free the trapped driver using the jaws of life to pry open his door. The driver was cut free from the wreckage in about 10 min. The driver was treated on the scene and transported with non life threating injuries to a local area hospital. The Ejected party was also treated and transported to a local area hospital with non-life threating injuries. It appears the driver of the truck was driving on the wrong side of magnolia ave. when the driver went head on with a vehicle waiting at the light to make a left hand turn onto Monroe St. Its unclear why the driver was on the wrong side of the roadway.
