One Ejected After Violent Street Racing Crash

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 11-27-23, 9:26 pm
LOCATION: 19100 E. Arrow Hwy
CITY: Covina

1. Covina PD and CHP along with LAcoFD responded to a multi-traffic collision with fire at 19100 blk of E. Arrow Hwy.

2. Once officers and firefighters arrived, on scene they located a total of three vehicles with one vehicle on fire, and one person, ejected out of a car and landed in a parking lot of a business at 19100 E Arrow Hwy.

3. The person who was ejected from the vehicle was pronounced dead on scene by firefighters and paramedics.

4. Unknown at this time how many other victims were transported.

4. Per witnesses at the scene who did not want to go on camera said that the vehicles were racing before the crash happened.

5. CHP Baldwin Park station will be handling the investigation into the fatal traffic collision.

6. The Los Angeles County Coroner has arrived at the scene.

7. CHP has both east and westbound Arrow Highway closed.
