One Dead, Two Injured In Long Beach Shooting

At approximately 12:10 a.m. on May 24, 2026, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 3200 block of Caspian Avenue near Silverado Park in Long Beach.

Responding officers located three victims suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately began rendering medical aid until paramedics arrived.

All three victims were transported to local hospitals, where one adult male later succumbed to his injuries.

Two female victims were also hospitalized and listed in stable condition.

Authorities say the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived, and investigators have not yet released a suspect description or possible motive.

Long Beach homicide detectives continued investigating the shooting through the morning hours.
