One Dead, Two Injured in Bar Shooting

LOCATION: 952 S Pacific Ave
AREA/CITY: San Pedro
DETAILS:

1. Shots broke out at the Machista bar, on 10th Street and Pacific Avenue.
2. Two people were found with gunshot wounds at the scene.
3. One person, a female, was taken to the hospital in unknown condition with a gunshot wound to the leg.
4. Another person, a male in his 30s, was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
5. 911 dispatchers reported over the radio that a third victim from the bar shooting had taken themselves to a local hospital.
6. The shooter, described as a female Hispanic wearing a black sweater, was reportedly still inside the bar when officers arrived, prompting a help call.
7. Although officers searched the bar, the suspect managed to escape.
8. Pacific Avenue between 9th Street and 11th Street will be shut down for several hours for the investigation.
