One Dead, Three Injured in Sinking Ship Garage Shooting in Seattle

Just after 1:30 a.m. on February 1st, 2026, officers with the Seattle Police Department responded to a shooting inside the Sinking Ship parking garage near 515 2nd Avenue in the Pioneer Square area of Seattle.
Upon arrival, crews located an adult male suffering from a fatal gunshot wound to the head; he was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Seattle Fire Department. A second male victim with life-threatening injuries was transported by paramedics to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. A 20-year-old woman was also treated and transported with a graze wound, while a fourth victim went to the hospital on their own with a graze wound, both listed in stable condition.
Police indicated that a physical fight broke out inside the parking garage before shots were fired. Detectives were reviewing video evidence and interviewing witnesses as part of the ongoing homicide investigation. No suspects were in custody at the time of reporting.
