One Dead, One Wounded In Spring Shooting

At approximately 3:30 a.m. on June 7, 2026, Harris County Precinct 4 deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the 23300 block of Aldine Westfield Road in Spring.

When deputies arrived, they located an 18-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was conscious and alert and received medical treatment.

As deputies searched the area, they located a second male with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, believed to be between 18 and 22 years old, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

According to homicide investigators, the incident began as a physical altercation between the two males that escalated into an exchange of gunfire.

Detectives said a third male then approached the scene and began firing at the two individuals who were already shooting at one another.

The third suspect fled the area on foot before law enforcement arrived.

Homicide detectives spent several hours processing the scene, interviewing witnesses, and gathering evidence as they worked to determine exactly what led to the deadly confrontation.

The surviving victim’s condition has not been released.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue searching for the third suspect.
