One Dead, One Injured In Vehicle vs. Two Pedestrian Traffic Collision

According to Sgt. Jon McClintock with Anaheim Police Department, tonight, just before 10 p.m., Anaheim PD and Anaheim Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the intersection of Anna Dr. / La Palma Ave. regarding a traffic collision involving pedestrians. Upon arrival, Officers discovered a vehicle struck two pedestrians crossing La Palma Ave. Both pedestrians were transported to a local hospital. Unfortunately, one pedestrian succumbed to his injuries. The other remains in stable condition. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. DUI is not a factor. Anaheim PD Traffic Detectives are responding to investigate the collision. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
