One Dead, One Injured in Early Morning Crash | Hollywood

10.28.2021 | 4:23 AM | HOLLYWOOD (CNS) – A person was killed Thursday in a collision just off the Hollywood (101) Freeway.

The California Highway Patrol confirmed that Los Angeles Police Department patrol units responded at 4:23 a.m. to the Vine Street off ramp of the freeway where a person had been struck and killed.

CBS 2 reported that a vehicle ran off the freeway and crashed through a series of trees and into a building.

The collision caused the closure of the freeway at the Vine Street exit.

No other details were available.
