One Dead After Gunfight In Houston Parking Lot

At approximately 8:00 p.m. on April 26, 2026, officers responded to a shooting near Harwin Drive and Fondren Road in Houston.

Investigators say a vehicle with multiple occupants pulled into a parking lot, where an exchange of gunfire began inside the car before continuing outside as individuals exited and fired at one another.

One person was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Two additional individuals later arrived at a local hospital with gunshot-related injuries and were detained as part of the investigation.

Several individuals fled the scene, and authorities are actively searching for those involved.

The investigation remains ongoing.
