One Car Rolls Over In Houston Police Involved Crash

Around 11:40pm, an HPD unit was traveling westbound on Gulf Bank Road to a non emergency call. Another vehicle was traveling the same direction in the left lane and decided to make a right turn in front of the HPD unit. The two vehicles collided, causing the civilian vehicle to overturn. The civilian vehicle had three people inside and two of them were transported as a precaution. The driver was not transported and is cooperating with the investigation at the scene. At this time, intoxication is not apparent, but the driver will be transported to the police station for additional intoxication testing. The HPD officer was not injured.
