One-Alarm Fire Engulfs Restaurant | Phoenix

03.25.2022 | 2:30 AM | PHOENIX – Firefighters responded to reports of a structure fire near Bell Road and i-17 around 2:30 AM Friday morning.

Upon arrival crews found a well involved fire inside a sushi restaurant and immediately balanced the assignment to a working fire.

Crews attempted to make entry and ventilate the roof but quickly pulled back taking a defensive posture as the fire rapidly grew out of control.

The assignment was soon balanced to a first alarm triggering a multi-agency response.

Firefighters continue to battle the now fully involved blaze as of 5:00 AM this morning.

Fire investigators are on scene standing by to determine what caused the inferno.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
