Officers Rescue Baby During Barricade

- LAPD & LAFD responded to a report of a stabbing
- Officers arrived and verified there was a stabbing that occurred at this location
- Officers learned that the suspect went back into her apartment & barricaded
- There was a 6-month-old baby girl inside the apartment with the barricaded suspect
- It is unclear if the baby was related to the suspect or the victim
- The victim of the stabbing is a roommate of the suspect
- Officers made entry into the apartment, rescued the baby & were able to get the suspect into custody
- Officers asked for paramedics for a 6 month old baby suffering from a bite wound
- The female was carried out to a patrol car and placed in the back seat
- The suspect then began kicking the window of the police car
- Officers also asked for paramedics to take the suspect to the hospital
