• Phoenix Police officers from the Mountain View Precinct responded to a report of domestic violence near 14th Street and McDowell Road around 8:00 PM Friday evening.

• As officers attempted to make contact with the suspect, he aimed a gun towards officers in their vehicle as they arrived.

• Police discharged their firearms before striking the suspect with their patrol vehicle.

• Phoenix Fire arrived and evaluated both the suspect and one officer.

• Both the officer and the suspect were transported with non-life threatening injuries.

• Police closed off both directions of McDowell Road and 14th Street as they investigated the incident.
