DETAILS:

• Chandler Police and Fire responded to reports of a person shot at the DoubleTree hotel on Chandler Boulevard near the I-10.
• Dozens of officers responded to the scene and began establishing a crime scene around the hotel.
• According to Chandler Fire radio traffic:
  One victim was transported in serious condition to a local area trauma center with a gunshot wound.
• A second injured person was also transported from the lobby of the hotel by ambulance with unknown injuries.

• “Chandler police are investigating an officer involved shooting in the 7400 block of W. Chandler Boulevard. The suspect is in custody. No officers have been injured. There is no threat to those in the area. Further updates will be provided as we get more information.”
