Officer Involved Hit and Run Crash | Los Angeles

03.08.2022 | 9:08 PM | LOS ANGELES – At approximately 9:08 PM, a LAPD commander? (unknown rank) radioed in he was involved in an officer involved crash, felony hit and run. Responding units arrived and located the suspect had fled northbound on Central Ave, and stopped at 27th Street. The suspect was taken into custody at the scene. The LAPD commander was treated for unknown injuries at the scene and not transported. The area remains closed off while LAPD conducts the investigation.
