DETAILS:
- Preliminary info.
- HCSO deputies are investigating an OIS with Cy-Fair ISD PD.
- The suspect was transported via ambulance in stable condition.
- Cy-Fair ISD officers witnessed a vehicle lose control and crash in the CY-Fair ISD Windfern Administration Annex parking lot.
- The Cy-Fair ISD officer attempted to contact that vehicle’s driver.
- The driver was agitated and attacked the officer. There was a struggle, and shots were fired.
- Another vehicle stopped, which was also part of the disturbance.
- An HCSO deputy was driving by who assisted the Cy-Fair ISD officer.
- The suspect who was shot was taken to the hospital.
- The second individual involved was treated at the scene and released by EMS.
- Both the Cy-Fair ISD police officer and HCSO Deputy were transported by ambulance for their injuries.
- At this time, the investigation is ongoing by the Cy-Fair ISD PD and HCSO.
