Off-Duty Officer Saves Crash Victim From Getting Creamed
12.08.2020 | 8:15 PM | TEJON PASS – Officials responded to reports of a multiple vehicle collision, including one semi truck that was overturned.
According to fire officials on scene, an off duty officer pulled a driver out of the vehicle before it was plowed by another.
Fire officials said that that action by the officer potentially saved the driver’s life, as his car was extremely mangled after the second collision.
There were only minor injuries in the crash. It is unknown how many people were transported or their condition The crash involved 3 vehicles, one with major damage, one with moderate damage and one with minor damage. The crash also involved a semi truck, which somehow overturned and landed in NB lanes of the I-5 from the SB lanes
Traffic on both the NB and SB sides of the freeway are impacted as a result of multiple lanes of both sides of the freeway being closed due to the incident
It is unknown if alcohol, drugs or speed was involved.
