Off Duty LAPD Officer Killed In Shooting | Los Angeles

01.10.2022 | 9:16 PM | LOS ANGELES – An off-duty LAPD officer was shot and killed in a confrontation between several men in an alley way in Los Angeles. At approx. 9:16 PM, LASD deputies responded to reports of a gunshot victim. Deputies arrived and located a gunshot victim in the alley suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Deputies were able to help the victim into the back of a patrol car, and transport him to St. Francis Hospital. The male victim was pronounced deceased, and identified as an off-duty LAPD officer. The off duty officer was on 87th st when he was confronted by three male hispanics. An officer involved shooting occurred and the officer was hit. The three male hispanics fled in a black truck.
