Off Duty Cop Slams Into Houston Police Car | Houston

04.14.2022 | 2:42 PM | HOUSTON – Two HPD patrol officers located a Ford Explorer stopped in moving lanes of the westbound feeder road. Officers discovered the driver was passed out in the driver seat. One officer was blocking one of the lanes and the officer was stopped toward the middle lanes. Both patrol units had the emergency lights activated. A pickup truck traveling westbound on the feeder road struck one of the HPD patrol units causing the patrol vehicle to hit the civilian vehicle. A HPD officers was inside the patrol vehicle when the crash occurred. The driver of the pickup truck, who is an off duty Pasadena police officer was also transported by ambulance with minor injuries.
