Oceanside: Pedestrian Killed In Crash

12.15.2018 | 9:50 PM | OCEANSIDE – A pedestrian was dead after being struck while crossing a road, Saturday night.

Officers responded to a reported vehicle versus pedestrian crash on the eastbound SR-76 near Douglas Drive shortly before 10:00 PM.

Officers arriving on scene of the incident located an pedestrian down in the roadway and quickly determined they were deceased.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained on scene and cooperated with authorities.

The circumstances surrounding the crash were under investigation.
