OCEANSIDE Fight at UEI College ends with shot fired

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 6-5-25 3:20 pm
LOCATION: UEI College 2027 Mission Ave
AREA/CITY: Oceanside
DETAILS:

1. Around 3:20 PM reports of a fight with shots fired came out at the address listed above.
2. On arrival officers located a suspect being detained by UEI instructors
3. It is believed that the suspect was involved in some kind of altercation at the school.
4. During the altercation a gun was produced and was discharged
5. No students or bystanders were hit.
6. The suspect was transported to a hospital for injuries.
7. the victim was also transported to a hospital
8. A nearby preschool was placed on lockdown as well as the college.
9. OCEANSIDE police is investigating this shooting.
