Nuevo: Fiery Crash Leaves One Dead

09.15.2019 | 1:10 AM | NUEVO – One person was dead after a fiery crash, early Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a multi-vehicle traffic in the 29000 block of San Jacinto Avenue around 1:10 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a a two-vehicle crash with major damage and one vehicle on fire.

Crews quickly doused the fire and discovered one victim deceased on scene.

One victim had been ejected and was pronounced deceased on scene by firefighter paramedics.

It was unclear if any other injuries were reported.

The scene of the crash was closed to traffic while authorities continued to investigate.
