Norwalk: Car Doing Stunts Bursts Into Flames, Occupants Flee
11.21.2018 | 1:48 AM | NORWALK – Deputies were searching for the occupants of a car that was left to burn in the middle of the road, early Wednesday morning.
Sheriff’s officials responded to reports of a vehicle driving erratically and performing stunts near an apartment complex in the 12600 block of Paddison Avenue shortly after 1:30 AM.
While responding reports came in that the vehicle had possible caught fire and was blocking lanes.
Units arrived on scene and found the car fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters responded and attacked the blaze which was extinguished within 10 minutes.
Initial reports indicate the vehicle was doing donuts and driving erratically before the car caught fire, prompting the occupants to flee the location.
Deputies were reviewing surveillance footage to identify the individuals who fled from the vehicle.
