Norwalk: Burglary Suspect Outstanding After Pursuit Crash

09.26.2019 | 10:39 AM | NORWALK – A burglary suspect remained at large after fleeing police and crashing, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a residential burglaries in the 15300 block of Ashworth Avenue and 16000 block of Jeanette around 10:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene located two white sedans fleeing the scene of the burglaries and gave chase.

One vehicle was able to get away while the second, a white BMW, crashed with several other vehicles at the intersection of 166th Street and Studebaker Road.

The driver of the BMW fled the scene on foot and despite a large perimeter was not immediately located.

No one was injured as a result of the crash and the incident remains under investigation.
