Northridge: Woman Seriously Injured By Hit & Run Driver

06.04.2020 | 12:13 AM | LOS ANGELES – A woman was seriously injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver, early Thursday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian in the 8300 block of North Penfield in the Northridge area around 12:13 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a female down in the roadway after being struck by a driver who fled the scene.

Firefighter paramedics treated the female on scene before transporting her to Northridge Hospital in serious condition.

Officers are scouring the area for surveillance video of the crash.

No description of the suspect vehicle was immediately available.
