North Hollywood: Woman Leads Officers On Pursuit After Stealing Metro Vehicle

03.04.2020 | 11:00 PM | LOS ANGELES – A woman who stole a Metro supervisor’s vehicle and led officers on a lengthy pursuit including a brief standoff was taken into custody, late Wednesday night.

Officers in the North Hollywood area attempted to stop a female suspect driving a Metro supervisor vehicle that had been reported stolen earlier in the night around 11:00 PM.

The suspect failed to yield, leading officers on a pursuit that spanned several freeways before coming to a stop at the intersection of Coldwater Canyon & Vanowen Street.

Still the woman refused to surrender prompting a standoff with officers before she again took off.

After a second pursuit the woman came to a stop near the intersection of Saticoy and Whitsett Avenue and was taken into custody without further incident.
