North Hollywood: Woman Killed In Shooting

11.25.2020 | 9:00 PM | NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CNS) – A woman was shot and killed in North Hollywood and the shooter or shooters were on the loose Thursday morning.

Officers responded to the area of Simpson Avenue and Vanowen Street at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, where they located the victim, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The woman had been shot in the back, KCAL9 reported.

Video from the scene showed what appeared to be evidence markers over several shell casings near a black SUV with its driver side door open.

A motive for the shooting and description of the shooter or shooters were not available.

The victim’s name was not disclosed.
