North Hollywood Pursuit Ends in Northern San Diego County

- Around 2:15 Saturday morning, LAPD North Hollywood units spotted a Mercedes sedan known to belong to a felony suspect wanted for Assault on a Police Officer.
- They believed the driver to be an ex-con and armed with a firearm.
- They attempted to stop the vehicle on Northbound 170 in Arleta, but the driver took off, Northbound 5, eventually getting on Southbound 405 in Granada Hills, before continuing all the way south on the 405 through Los Angeles and Orange counties, and ending in San Diego county more than two hours later.
