North Hollywood: Massive Fire Burns Commercial Buildings
11.01.2019 | 11:32 PM | LOS ANGELES – A massive fire engulfed two commercial buildings, late Friday night.
Authorities responded to reports of a structure fire burning in the 6800 block of Lankershim Boulevard in the North Hollywood area around 11:32 PM.
Crews arriving on scene found a commercial building with heavy fire showing through the roof and immediately called for additional resources.
Over 127 firefighters attacked the blaze for more than three hours, upgrading the firefight to a “major emergency fire.”
The blaze burned through at least two commercial buildings and remained active well into Saturday morning.
No injuries were immediately reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
