North Hollywood: Crash Involving Police Cruiser Injures Officers

12.02.2019 | 1:00 AM | LOS ANGELES – Two officers suffered minor injuries after their patrol vehicle collided with a pickup truck, early Monday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a marked Los Angeles Police Department patrol vehicle in the 5200 block of Tujunga Avenue in the North Hollywood area around 1:00 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a two-car crash involving a black Chevrolet pickup truck and a marked LAPD patrol vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics assessed two officers and the driver of the pickup truck on scene before transporting them to an area hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
