North Hills: Shooting Leaves Man Dead

10.18.2019 | 7:10 PM | LOS ANGELES – A homicide investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed, Friday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with a victim down near the intersection of Chase Street and Orion Avenue in the North Hills area around 7:10 PM.

Units arriving on scene located an adult male down near a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics attempted to revive the man with life-saving measures but ultimately pronounced him deceased on scene.

The area surrounding the shooting was cordoned off while detectives responded to the scene to investigate.
