North Hills: Pedestrian Dead After Being Struck By Hit & Run Driver

08.04.2019 | 12:05 AM | NORTH HILLS – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit and run driver, early Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian in the 15000 block of Roscoe Boulevard in the North Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles around 12:05 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a woman down in the roadway suffering from major injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics performed life-saving measured however the woman succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene.

The driver who struck the woman fled the scene without stopping to render aid or contact authorities.

Police established a crime scene as they searched for the hit and run driver
