North Hills: Off-Duty Officer Injured After Being Struck By Suspect DUI Driver

11.23.2019 | 11:27 PM | LOS ANGELES – An off-duty Los Angeles Police Department officer was injured after being struck by a suspected DUI driver while riding a motorcycle, late Saturday night.

Authorities responded to reports of an off-duty officer involved in a traffic collision in the 8300 block of Noble Avenue near Roscoe in the North HIlls area around 11:27 PM.

Units arriving on scene located an off-duty officer who was struck by a black Toyota while riding a motorcycle.

Firefighter paramedics treated the off-duty officer on scene before transporting him to an area hospital with serious injuries to his right leg.

The driver of the Toyota was administered field sobriety tests on scene before being placed under arrest on suspicion of DUI.
