North Hills: Bicyclist Fatally Struck By Two Vehicles

10.18.2019 | 8:34 PM | LOS ANGELES – A bicyclist was dead after being struck by two vehicles including one which fled, Friday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a bicyclist near the intersection of Rayen Street and Woodley Avenue in the North Hills area around 8:34 PM.

Units arriving on scene found an approximately 50-year-old male bicyclist suffering from major injuries.

Firefighter paramedics treated the bicyclist on scene before transporting him to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Initial reports indicate two vehicles struck the bicyclist however only one stopped and remained on scene. The second vehicle fled the scene without stopping to render aid.

An investigation is ongoing.
